Fresh and Exciting
It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.
The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Such a light and fun movie- definitely going to watch this one more than once and I suggest you do as well!To start off, I wasn't quite sure what to expect at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. I first saw this at the Atlantic City Film Festival (where it won numerous awards, I might add, and very much deserved each of them). The character dynamics are interesting, the incredibly rigid, irritating, and uptight Helen is portrayed impeccably (as are the rest of the various colorful characters- it was fun to recognize Eric Millegan from Bones!), and there's always just so much going on. The storytelling technique is excellent, interweaving the stories of different individuals, taking the viewer on a crazy ride right along with all of its characters.I couldn't believe the club was a set. It was so well-made, I was 100% convinced it was an actual place. I was absolutely blown away upon finding out that it wasn't.All in all, very enjoyable!
