The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

It feels sad to digest the fact that a sequel of Hera Pheri (which was like a trend setter in the bollywood for its situational comedy )was lifted from Guy Ritchie's Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. The movie is funny in some parts cos of its big list of comedians and it keeps us entertained from starting to the end cos of some fine performances from akshay kumar, sunil shetty, paresh rawal, johnny Lever and the other comedians . But nothing would justify it as the story is not an original one. I had a lot of expectations from this movie as it was a sequel of hera pheri. But the fact that it runs on a copied story is just not acceptable.

I'm writing this comment today because i was compelled to do so. Not by any one but after watching "Lock stock and two smoking barrels". I had this British movie with me for an year, but couldn't find time to watch it. Until my friend asked me to sit and watch it with him. To my shock, i knew the whole story for LS and 2 SB. So i decided not to break silence and watch movie with my friend. But at the back of my head i was cursing Priyadarshan and his team consisting of This Vohra guy. Believe me i have seen "Phir Hera Pheri" twice and i couldn't understand its ending. It made no sense as compared to Hera pheri. I always believed that i'm missing something in this movie and felt that the random hubbly jubbly in the end with all the cast members at the same time was useless. But boy O boy was i wrong. That ending was never meant for this movie and why??? The whole plot including dialogues has been imported from LS and Two smoking barrels. Now if you see this Guy ritchie movie it made sense and you kind of feel relaxed at the end. But "Phir hera pheri" simply blows. I have lost all respect for Priyadarshan and his team. Shame on you guys. Its good Bollywood is making sequels, but please guys spare us from the simple remakes of Hollywood, British, french, Italian, Argentinian, Spanish, Bulgarian, Chinese or from wherever you get your inspiration.( or i may say movies to copy). Thank you.P.S. This movie rightly deserves 2-3/10. No matter how good the acting was or music was or chick factor. Its the matter of originality. and i Loved "Hera Pheri" which i watched like 30 times.

i watched this movie last week and i would like to comment on it because the movie was really comedy and rib ticking stuff and i just fell down of my bed laughing badly on the last scenes .I didn't expect this much comedy which it was and i even didn't expect the verdict super-hit from the movie i thought it would be a stupid comedy like the ones these days but it was out of my expectations that the movie was one of my favorite Hindi comedy movies if you didn't watch this movie just watch it and you will be entertained by this great entertainer.but in the end there was a even a mystery which would rather be solved in pair Hera Peri part 3 laugh out loud

Let me say the truth. Yes I was slightly disappointed with this movie. Though it is still Hera Pheri, the same characters, Shyam, the guy who always smells trouble, and the stupid Baburao Wapte, it isn't the same any more. Hera Pheri stressed on the common problems of the poorer class people of India. There was a lot of character development in the prequel, the three characters bonded with each other. Whereas this movie is basically a spin off for Raju(Akshay Kumar) and some nice comic relief from Baburao Wapte(Paresh Rawal). Shayam(Sunil Shetty) has basically no part to play. Also the number of characters in the movie makes it a lot complicated. Hera Pheri was simple with a few basic characters, whereas Phir Hera Pheri sends the audience on a cat and dog chase. This becomes terribly boring at times, and only Paresh Rawal shines through with his impeccable ability to play the fool. He lets you rolling with peals of laughter. The songs are decent, Bipasha Basu and Rimii Sen does a good job as the co stars to this movie. And it was a nice cliffhanger of an ending keeping the people pondering whether there will be yet another sequel to this or not ...It should have been rated a lowly 5-6.. But only due to Paresh Rawal, it gets a 7... That man just gets better with each movie he makes. His ability to make you laugh is just impeccable.7/10 !!!! Chalate jao Paresh ji !!!
