At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Average western from Monogram studios. David Sharpe was a stunt man for numerous cowboy westerns so it seemed logical that he get the chance to star in his own western. Radio actress Janet Waldo, best known today for voicing "Judy Jetson" on THE JETSONS, plays a small role in the film. I'd like to know more about "Captain Boots" the famous police dog and "Thunder" the Wonder Horse, which makes appearances in this movie. I saw this movie at the 2007 Mid Atlantic Nostalgia Convention in Maryland and the crowd consisted of cowboy fans who felt it was overlooked. A cinematic masterpiece? No. But a great film to pass an hour? Yes, if you love cowboy westerns. And David Sharpe is doing his own stunts!
