Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

A contact lens allows people to broadcast their life live for viewers and sponsors. Wyatt (Taylor Handley) broadcasts his life as a stolen car racer with a hot girlfriend (Kate French). He is pursued and dies in an auto accident. His military brother Jonah (Dominic DeVore) returns home to avenge his death by pretending to be his brother, broadcasting illegal activity to gain an audience. The film is for people who feel they are so important that the world wants to know every time they go out an eat a cheeseburger and they do. The production had a lot of "eye cam" first person viewing, but it wasn't exclusive, so the film wasn't as idiotic as "Hardcore Henry." The final conflict was very anti-climatic.Guide: F-word. Brief sex and nudity.

Mediocre flick that combines Sci-Fi with Fast and Furious. I can't say that it bored me but the story is a bit of a wacky thing. Then it's pure Sci-Fi and then it's pure a chase flick between muscle cars. Steeling cars is the job they have to do but there are also lenses used to be placed in your eye so you can see what is happening with your friends. It's the combination of both worlds that makes it a bit weird to watch. The acting is above mediocre and especially the beginning with the Mustang and the motorcycles is worth watching. From there on it's the same story like Fast and Furious and the forbidden love thing. It's worth seeing for the muscle cars being used, if you dig Sci-Fi forget it, there are better things out.Gore 0,5/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 2/5 Story 2,5/5 Comedy 0/5

Got a chance to see this movie before it even came out…I just get lucky like that sometimes…Such a blast of a film, really. So topical and dead on. There are not only truly cool tech elements that keep you guessing, and wondering how close we are to living like this…but also really well-directed chase scenes and of course a little bit of hotness thrown in. Moments of well-written darkness while also a high octane popcorn movie. A really good look at what we're heading for with our selfie-generation and tech savvy kids. The ideas behind this film are both fascinating and frightening.Fast and fun and edgy…and definitely worth at LEAST 1 watch!

I enjoy films that make you think "has technology gone too far?" Channeling is a perfect example of this. Another example would be the film Her. What makes Channeling especially interesting is that the technology depicted here seems like it could happen in the very near future. This could very well be the next upgrade in social media. The part of the story involving Ashleigh (Skyler Day) made me think about how future generations of people seem to have less and less privacy in their lives. For example, today it's not uncommon to see a post on Facebook of a baby in the womb; that person was never given the choice of how present they want to be on social media. In Ashleigh's case, some of her most intimate moments were live broadcasted without her knowledge. In addition to the thought provoking and sci-fi feel of the film, it also contains a fair amount of action (i.e. car chases), really drawing in the audience. Overall Drew Thomas does an excellent job with this movie. I highly recommend it.
