After finding an ad online for “video work,” Sara, a video artist whose primary focus is creating intimacy with lonely men, thinks she may have found the subject of her dreams. She drives to a remote house in the forest and meets a man claiming to be a serial killer. Unable to resist the chance to create a truly shocking piece of art, she agrees to spend the day with him. However, as the day goes on, she discovers she may have dug herself into a hole from which she can’t escape.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Seeing as how I'd been quite pleasantly surprised by Creep, I knew I simply had to try the sequel (also available on Netflix, how convenient). In my opinion, Creep 2 succeeds in being a worthy continuation, maintaining all the great defining features of the first (great use of first person cinematography, smart and compelling story and of course, Mark Duplass' absolutely profound acting) on one hand, while shuffling the deck and adding some fitting twists and turns on the other. I find it a bit difficult to explain without including spoilers for the first film, so let's just say I'm quite positive anyone who enjoyed it would enjoy the 2nd no less.

It's a regular camcorder type movie. Limited cast which I feel was in its favor. Better than expected for a not well known movie. Mind play kind of movie.

Keep away if you don't wanna be bored by endless sequences of nothingness. The introductory scene was quite catchy, and I must admit, it left me shuddered. But the rest of the film fell flat: I wasn't scared and neither was I creeped out by anything.I liked the plot. It was intriguing and new. A lot could have been done with the set-up, and instead, what I saw was pretentious serial killer film that tried (and failed) getting under my skin and rattling me up within. The atmosphere, the handheld cameras, the absence of music - these are great tactics, but they don't work unless the script does, or rather, in this case, the sketch of the killer does. Or maybe the film was trying to be art of some other kind, of which I wouldn't know.Creep 2 is an hour and fifteen minutes in length, but unfortunately, to me, it felt a lot longer. If you have anything else to do, do that.
