Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

I watched this because of John Cusack. He has been in some interesting movies. So many holes in this story. So many jr high play "what's my line" pauses. So many inconsistencies. Fight scenes made WWE look real. 2 minutes in I wondered what am I watching. I watched for another 30 min to let it develop, but then realized this is simply bad and getting worse. Could not believe it had a 4 rating. 4 says it has some promise. This a Singularity turd deserving of a single star.

I don't normally care for writing reviews but this movie and all its awful splendor taught me that I am perhaps a closeted masochist. It was so painful to watch and yet I had to see it through. To be fair I thought the ending would somehow redeem the first 1.5 hours of hot mess that this was but nope. Points for the oversimplitic antagonist goals.Points lost for taking 5+ minutes to explain said oversimplitic points.

Every actor in this was the worst at their craft, including John Cusack who texted-in, didn't even bother to phone-in, his wooden silly performance. The two younger actors can maybe plead inexperience and bad direction. The plot is just a mish-mash ripoff of bits of Terminator and Matrix and every other "computers rule the world" scifi - all done better than this. It had a few decent effects so I gave it a 2, but really NOT worth a watch.

Voice my displeasure. So most all the humans die in 10 minutes but they build a city in another planet to escape. Right
