Reviews
if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Great film this, a danish classic. Perfect balance of poetic romance scenes, including full moon walks, swan statues, parks, moonlight sonatas, beautiful women, grumpy old uncles everything.Hilarious comedy from Dirch Passer, of course, but this is not solely a Passer flick. Legendary Ove Sprogøe plays Charles. Mr. charming and dead to early Ebbe Langberg is Peter, and they both want to marry Susse Wold and Ghita Nørby. Here is also a great performance from Holger Juul Hansen whom we love so much in the series «Matador» and «Riget» (Lars von Triers «The Kingdom»).A must see!
