Best movie of this year hands down!
Good concept, poorly executed.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
Watching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.
The story is about ruined boxer (they call him Rocky). Kids believe that he will help them to get rid of a local gangster (King). The bad guy (King) looks like a combination of biker and narco diller. Our hero is trying to avoid the fight, but he does not want to disappoint the kids also. On the end, kids will unite end beat the bad guy on their own. I find this movie somehow interesting. It has some childish ideas about justice and honor, crime and punishment. It contains some political-correct ideas of that (communistic) time: together we are stronger, together we can defeat every enemy, etc. Interesting, but not good enough.
