The rural setting at Bon Aqua invites city-boy/country-boy ribbing between Cash and his first guest, Manhattan-born pop veteran Tony Orlando, who points out that "Tie A Yellow Ribbon" is "my prison song". At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
