Almost In Life (2010)
This is a film, but also a journey. In the indifferent poetic journey of director Tai Ting, I meet people who are struggling to find their own lives and find close to the land. Everyone has a starting point, a curve of travel, and a waiting answer. What are they looking for? What kind of invisible expectations are revealed by those tangible searches? The director is moving in the quiet and beautiful space, whispering, the people staring into the distance.

Absolutely the worst movie.
It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
