Ruby Rose no longer playing "batwoman" on the CW
Batwoman actress Ruby Rose will no longer play the role of Kate Keen / Batwoman on the CW series! The Season 2 will be released at January 2020. Ruby did not give a reason for her departure.
“I have made the very difficult decision to not return to Batwoman next season,” Ruby shared in a statement to Variety.
“This was not a decision I made lightly as I have the utmost respect for the cast, crew, and everyone involved with the show in both Vancouver and in Los Angeles,” she went on to add. “I am beyond appreciative to Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Caroline Dries for not only giving me this incredible opportunity but for welcoming me into the DC universe they have so beautifully created.”
She also had large roles in the action films Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016), XXX: Return of Xander Cage (2017) and John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)
The creators are now looking to replace the actor and are determined to go ahead with the show with a new actress taking over.
