Henry Cavill Will Beck to the Dc Universe As Superman
Henry Cavill isn’t hanging up his Superman cape just yet. Sources confirm to Variety the “Man of Steel” actor is in talks to return as Clark Kent in an upcoming DC Comics movie.
Warner Bros. and Cavill’s reps couldn’t be reached for comment Wednesday.
Cavill, who starred in “Man of Steel,” “Batman v Superman” and “Justice League,” dropped by Zack Snyder’s Vero Watch Party for “Man of Steel” last week, where the director announced that his special cut of “Justice League” would release on HBO Max in 2021.
Snyder recently announced the long rumor "Snyder Cut" from "Justice League" for HBO Max, although insiders say Variety Cavill would not be suitable for the director's cut, but rather an appearance in one of DC's upcoming movies , which include "Aquaman 2", "The Suicide Squad" and "The Batman".
In a cover article for Men's’s Health in December, Cavill revealed that he had not given up on that role.
