LeBron James and Ryan Coogler Get Together to Space Jam 2

Black Panther's director, Ryan Coogler, will shoot Space Jam 2 with NBA superstar LeBron James.

Space Jam is a 1996 American live-action/animated sports comedy film starring basketball player Michael Jordan and featuring the Looney Tunes cartoon characters. The film was produced by Ivan Reitman, and directed by Joe Pytka. Nigel Miguel was a basketball technical advisor. Space Jam presents an alternate history of what happened between Jordan's initial retirement from the NBA in 1993 and his comeback in 1995, in which he is enlisted by Bugs Bunny and his friends to help them win a basketball match against a group of aliens who want to enslave them for their amusement park. The film had taken $250 million and kept the highest box office of basketball movies.

Ryan Kugler is producer of the movie, and Terence Nance will be the director he has directed the experimental film( An Oversimplification of Her Beauty). The production of Space Jam 2 is tentatively scheduled for the NBA offseason next year. This will be James' first main role, he joined in Amy Schumer comedy The Wreck of Life since 2015.

After the success of Creed and Black Panther, Ryan Kugler became one of Hollywood's hottest directors. Creed 2 will also be released in North America on 21th November this year, but he is the dramatist and producer.

"The collaboration with Space Jam will not only be the story of my brother and I," James said. "The film will have more grand things. I want to let the children understand how powerful they will feel if they don't give up their dreams, how powerful they will become. I think Ryan's previous work has done this. He gave many people encouragement."
