He came to the east coast in 1993 and after getting married in 1997, Lathe and Elyssia eventually settled in the quintessential New England town of Bethel, CT. He was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2010. Once he learned how common diabetes had become he knew what his next big film project had to be about.
