So what happens to the players when their daily life in the NFL halts and their lives go 100 to 0? "Life After" follows this difficult transition. Some players pursue interests that got pushed to the side for football, some take skills they learned on the field and monetize them off of the field, and some surprise themselves with a passion they didn't know existed.

After a retirement video at White Castle went viral, Spice's light-hearted hobby of posting Youtube videos was instantly monetized and he became a sensation.

In the NFL locker room, skipping a shower is called "taking a shower pill". This sparked an idea for running back, Justin Forsett. Before he retired in 2017, he was already working on an intersection between hustle and hygiene that he named "The Shower Pill".
German born, Domenik Hixon recalls his first memorable experience in the states to be fishing with his Uncle. After his third ACL tear, Domenik put down the helmet and picked up a captain's hat for a charter fishing boat. Andrew grew up around football but unlike most great athletes, Andrew saw life after football before he played a down in the NFL. At 7 years old, Daniel Wilcox knew that football was going to be his life, but his creative drive soon landed him an art scholarship to Appalacian State University. When his career in the NFL was cut short, he knew he had to put his sketching abilities to use. Sherrod Martin felt that if he was done with football, his life was over. But he soon came to realize that he missed the comradery of the locker room. He now continues this comradery in a new room, the Barbershop.

It wasn't for lack of love for the game that took him out off the field after 3 years in the NFL. It was his love for the human brain.
