The day after the wedding. Gemma and Kieran are due to go on their romantic honeymoon in Finland and Ray starts a new job.
Ray’s mum, Mathilde, visits London for Ray’s birthday. It’s been a year since Ray left home and Mathilde tries to navigate the distance growing between her and her only child. Over a tense birthday dinner, Mathilde observes a new dynamic between Ray and her landlords.
