I Rock (2010)
I Rock is an Australian comedy / drama television series which first screened on ABC2 from 3 May 2010. The series revolves around Nash Taylor and his struggling indie rock band, Boy Crazy Stacey, trying to make it big on the Australian music scene. The series was shot in the pub scene of the inner west suburbs of Sydney. Guest stars include Tim Rogers from Sydney band You Am I, Cassette Kids and radio broadcaster personality Scott Dooley. The series stars Josh Mapleston. It was written by Josh Mapleston with David Fedirchuk and Rob Macdonald, produced by David Fedirchuk & Rob Macdonald and directed by Rob Macdonald.

When Nash develops a big crush on super-cute bass player Comet, he asks her to join his band. Problem is, he’s already got a bass player – his little brother Jasper.
Nash enters Boy Crazy Stacey in a local band competition, a spot at the Splendour in the Grass festival up for grabs, only to find his ex-girlfriend and ex-guitarist are his rivals.
When an old schoolmate offers Nash a spot at an obscure festival, Nash accepts, only to find out on the day it’s a Christian event.
Nash devises a film clip for the band in which he gets to kiss Comet, but not much goes to plan.
An aging rocker offers Boy Crazy Stacey a record contract, and a drug-fueled night of partying ensues.
An increasingly erratic Nash writes a love song, but no-one understands what it means, least of all the person he’s written it for – Comet.
With no band and no money, Nash is forced to get a day job in the mailroom of Jasper’s office.
Nominated for an ARIA Award, Boy Crazy Stacey is asked to play on the night, but the divisions in the band threaten their big break.
