Pokémon: The Abridged Series (2008)
Pokémon the Abridged Series began on February 14th, 2008. Once run solely by Master WGS, Pokémon the Abridged Series (PTAS) quickly become too much for the green-horn video maker to handle, so he enlisted the help of his friends DarkBomberKid, Xerostyle, ModernTenshi04, Deathscythehello, and Chippy, who would eventually become Box of Danger. As the Box of Danger flagship and origin point, PTAS has slowly (at times, VERY slowly) grown significantly over the years, and (God-willing) will continue to grow with, not only the help of the BoD members, but Honorary Members CountAbyss and LordMoonstone as well.

The ground-breaking first episode of Pokémon the Abridged Series! Ash starts his quest like a true champion – late.
Ash arrives in Viridian City, and makes a collect call to President Santa.
Ash catches his first Pokémon, the noble Caterpie!
Ash meets Samurai the Samurai, who promptly challenges him to a battle! Lives are lost and laughs are had! Actually, not really. This episode sucks.
Ash and Misty meet Brock, the strange Gym Leader of Pewter City.
Ash, Misty, and the new addition Brock find a strange cult of underground fairy creatures, and a scientist who wants to rule them.
Ash challenges his greatest foe yet – the girl he’s known all along!
Bulbasaur! Bulba Bulb Bulba!
Don’t watch this episode. Seriously. It was a prank.

takahata101 guest stars as Lt. Surge, the terrifying half-man, half-tank who controls thunder.
Ash and friends get into some crazy hijinks in international waters. 1KidsEntertainment, LordQuadros, TehExorcist, CountAbyss, BossTrigger, PirateBeck, decimator71, CanadianJutsu, and AngelElric all make guest appearances as various background characters.
Ash and friends are LOST in another reference-heavy episode that won’t make sense in a few years.
Ash finds a boat and breaks it. That’s about it. Oh, and he sells Misty at the end. That’s the punch-line.
The hunt is on for some Tentacool, but things go REALLY badly. Go with the motion of the ocean in this episode of PTAS.

Ash and his friends finally spin out to Celadon City for a gym battle, but Erika won’t let any Tom, Dick, or Harry into her facility.
Ash and the gang come across a sleepy little town with psychological issues and child-recognition problems. Things go from bad to worse as Poké-depression sweeps the city.
