Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

The longevity of the Emmanuelle series owes itself almost entirely to one factor: the appeal of watching several center-fold women engage in sex. In this sense, Emmanuelle movies are unique because while the ordinary pornographic films show attractive women having sex, these female porn stars are no where near as attractive as the ones so often shown in the Emmanuelle movies -- at least until very recently. "Emmanuelle's Magic" is no exception. To be sure, this movie does not have much of a plot. But few people go to see Emmanuelle for the story line. Far more are interested in the sex and, on this level, Emmanuelle's Magic does deliver up to a point. There are some truly gorgeous women here, like Marcela Walerstein (playing the young Emmanuelle) and Krystyna Ferentz, who have all sorts of wild sexual adventures and otherwise get away with murder throughout this film. Other times the "Emmanuelle's Magic" feels tediously long. Instead of sticking to what it is good act (i.e. the softcore sex scenes), this film tries and fails to be artistic with for example long, expressionless scenes of Emmanuelle's journey to Tibet -- which quite frankly could have been left out. But for what it is worth, Emmanuelle's Magic does not do that badly as porn and the strip poker scene has always been fun to watch.5.5/10
