This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.
Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Low budget but fun, this is a very unique take on demonic movies and has a very interesting little creature to boot. My words of advice when you watch it (for free on Amazon Prime) is to just have fun with it!
HOUSESITTERS is an awfully embarrassing indie comedy with a few horror touches dotted here and there. The film follows two moronic young housesitters as they goof around for an age, smoking pot and generally being annoying. Eventually they find a glove puppet demon and a pentagram painted in the basement, but it still doesn't get any better. A real chore to sit through, this one; it feels ad-libbed throughout, and the humour is dire.
