Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
Jon and Garfield visit the United Kingdom, where a case of mistaken cat identity finds Garfield ruling over a castle. His reign is soon jeopardized by the nefarious Lord Dargis, who has designs on the estate. Garfield 2 is not just a big improvement than the first film but it's also way more funnier than the first Garfield movie, i died laughing with that dog that was chasing Billy Connolly and basically tried to eat his pants also the rest of the animals steal the show as well and i loved the character of the Prince as well and it was pretty cool that he got along with Garfield so fast. Bill Murray says that he regrets making these films but personally i had such a great fun with both movies, they were funny and had so much adventure plus i loved Odie in this film way more than the first one he was so smart and eventually helped Jon with finding Garfield so many times and just goes to show you how loyal of a dog he is. The movie also has some pretty great songs as well that fit the mood quite well it's not the best movie ever made but i really enjoyed it and besides Murray should think over the whole "Ghostbusters" thing he did rather than Garfield which is an enjoyable film that kids and maybe even parents will enjoy.
Garfield two is a joy from start to finnish. This masterpiece will keep you smiling the whole night. This movie follows Garfield getting into all sorts of mischief, but this time it go's too far, when Garfield swaps owners with a look a like of his. I don't want to spoil too much, but the results are simply hilarious. In conclusion, Garfield two is a must buy, not just for children, but people of all ages. 10 out of 10, buy now, you will not be disappointed. I'm just Joshing, there's still so much more to talk about. I must confess, when first going into this movie I thought Bill Murray was just phoning it in. But after witnessing his amazing comedic abilities, I knew never to doubt him again. 5 Stars, would watch again, I've already watched it 10 times.
Jon Arbuckle (Breckin Meyer) plans to propose to his girlfriend Dr. Liz Wilson (Jennifer Love Hewitt). She's on a business trip and he follows her to London. Garfield (Bill Murray) and Odie sneak into Jon's luggage and join him on the trip. Garfield breaks out of the kennel with Odie and hides in Jon's suitcase. Meanwhile, the late Lady Eleanor leaves her castle to her pampered cat Prince and next to nothing to her nephew Lord Dargis (Billy Connolly). Once in London, the lookalike cats get switched.I actually like the interaction between Jon and Garfield. I like the movie up to the point when they get separated. Then the movie loses what makes it fun in the comic strip. I don't care about all these other animals and everything going on in the castle. It's all very children's show with all these talking animals. I like it when sarcastic Garfield is the only animal who talks.
The orange, rotund feline is back once more, and he has a twin. Garfield's (Murray) nightmare is about to come true. Jon (Meyer), his owner, intends to keep him and Odie locked in an animal shelter whilst he is away to London with his girlfriend Liz (Hewitt). Garfield, for the cat that he is, decides to tag along with Jon and Odie has no intentions of being left behind. Prince (Curry) a British cat with the exact same appearance as Garfield, is an heir of a sprawling mansion in the English meadows. Lord Dargis (Connolly) was expecting to inherit the mansion when his aunt passed away who instead left it to her cat, much to his disappointment. He now intends to get rid of Prince and eventually control the mansion and convert it into a hotel. Prince and Garfield get swapped and a situation of mistaken identities occur where Garfield is living life Prince-size, and Prince has to live in a hotel like a commoner. The movie is an improvement from the previous movie and Garfield is more sarcastic, rude and uncaring than the previous movie. Although the movie plot has its flaws, its meant to appeal to the mindset of young children and it definitely will.
