Blistering performances.

The beginning was quite slow, seemed like a boring C list cast- made for TV thriller. But the last half hour made the movie! They should have added much more of the thriller suspense than boring "after school special" talks between step mom, dad, and typical acting out teen.

To anyone who considers to spend their life time to watch this, don't. The only scary thibg about this is how bad this was. The story EVOLVED SO BAD worst movie ever i honestly regret watching this movie

Well,im not a notorious horror lover,most of all becaquse the plots are all the same. this film had also a familiar plot with an entity,a young scared girl,and two not so understanding parents.what i lioked from the director,was the sneaky way horrore came to surface,in fact i had to rewind the dvd several times to persept the thing.some jolts went trough my body through the film . its a film that ends with a ''figure out yourself''ending.nice filming and editing,enticing music,.well done acting and use of effects.i have seen scarier and better horror movies like ''the gift ''and ''the thing'',but it works.a 9 from me.

Spoilers Beware! You've seen it hundred times Before, A creature or a psycho redneck living inside the walls or exploiting a house for the purpose to kill and kill again. It's not as slick as People under the stairs, When a stranger calls, or silent scream, Rupture, See no evil etc. Creepy zombies and aliens have crawled through Wents after their victims in so many Movies. Why it has become stable for the genre I have no clue, cause its not scary at all. Its very rarely they pull this off. And I don't Think of Rec succeeding with that either. The best thing about Within is the build up. the moving furnitures and the for awhile there i thought the whole neighbourhood was in on the tricks.Sadly I hated the ending and that ruined the film really bigtime. It felt like a waste of time even seeing the it. as with many horrors, abrupt endings Just feels lazy. I really liked the lead girl this time, she wasn't all to annoying. and I hated that ugly hobo in the attic and i wanted to see him die a slow Death but that never happened. SO that's why i give it a 3.
