The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

I really loved this one ( though the 3rd is my most favorite ) , warrick davis still did a wonderful job like always :)I love how much magic lep used and his funny great rhyming ,The cast did really good but I didn't watch for them , truly it was boring when that loveable lep wasn't in it And I simply love the ending :) plus leps song " Lep in the Hood " was just so great :)

Don't need to write a review on this...my title says it all. part one of this franchise was somewhat OK but this, this is just total stupid sh*t.I would be ashamed to have ever starred in this or even produced it.....awful awful sh*t. I would expect more of ice-t but I guess like the writers and the rest of the cast, he too, was stupid, at least on this....i see he came a long way on Law and Order where as the rest of the cast on here faded away like a bad odor coming from a week old turd. don't be like me and waste your time with this pile of crap. I did only because there was nothing on TV and i was bored but now regret it....deeply.

I am a big fan of the first 4 Leprechaun movie. This is the fifth Leprechaun movie. The first Leprechaun movie is a great movie. Leprechaun 2 is a great movie. Leprechaun 3 is a great movie. Leprechaun 4 in space is a great movie. The sixth Leprechaun movie Leprechaun back 2 t.h.a hood is a great movie. This is just stinky pooh pooh. The best thing about this movie is that it is a precursor to Leprechaun back 2 t.h.a hood. Do not bother with this awful movie. It is just pooh pooh. The story line is awful. The ending is very stupid. This a good movie to skip. Do not wast your money. Do not wast your time. Do not see this awful movie.

A comedy that tries ever so hard to be funny but which fails at every step, LEPRECHAUN IN THE HOOD turns out to be way worse than the original, Jennifer Aniston-starring movie (I haven't as yet watched any of the movies in between, but on the strength of this I doubt I'll bother). It's a micro-budgeted attempt at crossing a traditional comedy horror with a blaxploitation movie, and it really is that bad.Warwick Davis (who REALLY must have needed the money) returns to the fold as the Irish menace who sets his sight on some black rappers and gangsters. Ice-T is the only recognisable actor in the cast, and you wonder what bills HE needed to pay to be reduced to appearing in this. Everything about the film is horrible: the jokes fall flat, the performances are terrible, and by this stage there's no horror left in the premise. Just dodgy effects and dumb jokes, repeated for an hour and a half. Avoid it like the plague.
