It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

Screened on free to air public TV in Australia last night every family here got to see the delights and charms of Rob Schneider and his arsenal of penis/gay jokes. Even our own 'star' Alex Dimitriades appeared as a male prostitute. No stretch for young Alex given his same role in the tedious HEAD ON a few years back. Isn't the film industry wonderful! Liberally sprinkled - and in one sneezing penis nose joke - sprayed across the screen in any home watching we were treated to noble Euro-stars hamming it up in a US trash comedy perhaps picking up some quick holiday pay or hoping this could lead to a role in a better film. I de-duced from the start that EURO GIGOLO was supposed to be funny to anyone who only laughed at body functions. Screened in multiplexes across Australia like most Adam Sandler productions (yes, sad but true) and instead of better films EURO GIGOLO is yet another reason why adults do not go to multiplexes anymore, unless forced to when they really really want to see a film. I am so glad this was on TV for free. Had I paid I would have wanted a refund and a year's free admissions.

OK so I watched this movie on TV one night and found it to be alright. It wasn't that good plotwise but it had a few laughs. When Deuce receives a call from his old friend TJ, he sets of to Europe to help him in his dwindling business of pimping. While in Amsterdam, the Gigalo population have started to fall, as someone has started killing them off one by one. So Deuce and TJ set off to find the killer. The plot is, well the bad plot it has is only there for the laughs, and the laughs are very minimal. The only few laughs in here are not that great as well, but at least i laughed a few times. You feel so embarrassed just watching this. The jokes are rehashed and there is nothing original; you've seen it all before, plenty of times. There were many gay jokes, and many porn terms in the movie. Many were not funny just annoying. This movie cold have been a lot better had it been worked on more

Personally I couldn't get enough of this film. Though most of the humour was very basic there were a few moments that I found hilarious as well as clever. The scene with the Frenchman at the aquarium was (in my eyes) comic genius. Some of the other comments complain that this movie was offensive towards Europeans but I didn't see any of this - I think anyone from Holland could see this as a tongue in cheek representation of their culture and I highly doubt this movie would cause offence. And truth be told though some of the stereotypes were exaggerated for comic effect it wasn't like the movie was catering to aged and unfounded stereotypes - a lot of the references in this film were loosely based on genuine European/Dutch culture. I also found Eddie Griffin's character very amusing and the overly-homophobic nature of his character was brilliantly portrayed. In a lot of ways it was the acting that saved the film - as they managed to rescue so of the script's downfalls - normally someone eating chips out of a toilet would just be cringe-worthy but Griffin saved it.I would definitely recommend this to friends and the only reason that I only gave it 7/10 is because I realise that though I couldn't stop laughing, it is still quite a basic and very often crude comedy and thus not deserving of a higher score...

Terrible, I can't believe how many 10s this has been given. It is not funny, some comedies can take on risky subjects in a humorous way, this can't and appears to just be offensive to many people. I am not saying this because I don't have a good sense of humour, but because I do.If you see this film is on, the only reason I would suggest watching it is if you want something to complain about, and sorry if you have actually paid money for this film. It cannot even be seen in the way that it is so bad that it's good, despite the suggestions of others. I do not normally leave reviews but was driven to it by seeing the surprisingly high score it had received.
