Altitude (2017)

Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

A female FBI agent is offered millions to help a thief escape from a hijacked airplane. Altitude is unfortunately a very bad and low budget film but then again? should i be expecting anything more? Once again the people who make those posters showcases Lundgren as the main star but he was hardly even in this movie. The special effects looked like they came out from the 1960's or something and Denise Richards character was very hard to like or even care about. The storyline was pretty much a mess as well and definitely skip it (0/10)

Other reviewers have already highlighted the gaping holes in the technical side of this abortion of a film so I won't go into detail. Suffice to say that they must have had absolutely no input from anyone who knows the first thing about aircraft. It's beyond bad, it's beyond awful. It's monumentally diabolical.As for the plot, what plot? A tired old story of aircraft hijack by baddies with dozens of improbabilities and impossibilities. Continuity errors are rife and the budget CGI just draws the eye to the flaws.Whatever you do don't pay to watch this.in fact whatever you do just don't watch this.

Denise Richards plays an FBI hostage negotiator who is being banished to a desk job. On her flight she is upgraded after an altercation with an obese passenger and ends up sitting next to a charming Brit in first class. When the Brit sees Dolph Lundgren on the plane he offers Richards $50 million dollars to get him off the plane safely. Pretty soon the bad guys take over the plane.Altitude AKA Hijack is a bad action film with a terrible script and mostly shot in the dark so you can hardly see a thing. It is low budget and low wattage action. An awful dog of a film.

Reminiscent of 90s action flicks, this dumb, but never boring trash flick has Denise Richards doing the action heroine role reserved for people like Cynthia Rothrock and her peers. Yeah, the movie is dumb, and some of the acting is spotty, (Greer Grammar for example), but being stuck inside of the house during a monsoon, this movie makes you forget the plot-holes, awful girl/girl fight with Richards and Grammar and other annoyances these type of movies are noted for. Dolph Lundgren was wasted....as usual. Pay close attention to the passenger sitting next to air marshal. In one scene he looks like he's asleep when he's supposed to be terrified.
