This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

I am a horror fan. I love all things horror especially when it comes to horror movies. This was a good film in my opinion and I haven't heard of it until I watched it with my friend and we really liked it. It is a creepy movie and it's a good movie too. I mean it does have it's annoying ghost movie plot sequences but i do like this movie.

Others might not think the movie is as good as i'm saying it is, but this is my opinion. The movie actually scared me, which is something that doesn't happen often with horror movies. It didn't need to be a generic slasher film in order to induce fear. It delved deep into psychological fear, which is what I like. Not many movies can successfully do what this movie did. The story itself interested me, and during every twist in the storyline, I was on the edge of my seat. Yes, there were jumpscares, but not predictable ones. Sure, here and there there would be some weird scenes, or scenes that I felt the movie didn't really need, but the fact that they made something out of nothing and actually made it good, makes me think it deserves a 10 out of 10 rating.

Directed by Anthony DiBlasi (Dread), Last Shift is a well-written and decent horror movie.Revolving around newcomer officer, Jessica Loren (Juliana Harkavy) who starts her first night shift in a police station that is basically abandoned but needing "security". She is greeted and soon left alone by her rather intense commanding offer and strange occurrences begin to unfold as the night progresses. The movie is pretty fast paced, there's a load of jumps scares and it has some pretty creepy moments. I'd recommended it.

The movie has some good ideas but it is way too long. Some little jump cuts are noticeable and the lack of explanations or purposes of some events or characters makes the movie a bit shallow.. Half way through you start thinking "jeez another vision she just made up"...And this is the bad part because it's too redundant and boring and the outcome is way too predictable...I was also surprised by the all white cast as I said in the summary because it's really rare to see that nowadays even in small towns...The lack of diversity is a real problem and even in indie movies like that, filmmakers should be aware of it. I wouldn't have mentioned it if there was a real historical reason why they did it...
