Elite snipers Brandon Beckett and Richard Miller are fighting extremists in the Middle East when the Colonel gives them a new mission: to protect a gas pipeline stretching from the Republic of Georgia to Western Europe from extremists eager to make a political statement. But when skirmishes with the enemy lead to U.S. snipers being killed by a ghost shooter who locks into their exact location, a security breach is suspected. Fingers are pointed and battle lines are drawn, all leading up to an explosive climax.

Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

This is another story in the life of Gunnery Sgt. Brandon Beckett (Chad Michael Collins) and Richard Miller (Billy Zane). The characters have been introduced in a previous film:"Sniper: Reloaded-2011".They are part of an elite sniper group. The film starts out in Syria, then Turkey, and finally ends up in Georgia where our team is tasked to protect the building of a gas line to connect Georgia to Ukraine. Beckett suspects the Georgians working with the US are supplying the enemy with co-ordinates due to some recent killings (new people in landing party). The movie has a lot of sniper style killing. If people looking through a scope and taking the head shot is your kind of film, this is it. Plot is straight forward.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

I watched this on a bootleg site that was all written in Arabic. The copy of the DVD had Arabic subtitles. I couldn't help wondering how that audience receives a movie like this, let alone do they enjoy watching it? Maybe they don't care, they just pirate the movies and make their money.Anyway, I've been out of the "Sniper" loop since about the second one (What are we on now? 12?) so I needed to do a little catching up. I have to say that this wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Sure the visual fx were pretty cheesy and the dialog was, at times, embarrassing. But over all it far surpassed anything Steven Seagal has done in the last decade or so (with the possible exception of The Cockpuncher) So, in doing a little research I discovered that just about anyone associated with these films is either trying to get a career started or pretending their career isn't yet over. There was, in fact some decent acting. You can tell a good actor when he delivers the cheesiest line in a way that almost makes you believe him (or her)But the one overlying factor was that whenever Dennis Haysbert was on screen I kept expecting him to say, "That's Allstate's stand. Are you in good hands?"

All over the place could be another description for this. Too many endings (or at least you may feel this could've ended way before it actually does) and too many things going on at the same time. At least for a movie with the scope this has (no pun intended). But then again, if it were too simple people would have criticized that too.But what happened to Dennis Haysbert? After 24 you'd expect him to have a real career and not having to do stuff like that. His acting abilities far overweight anything he has to do in this movie and it's a shame to see him go to waste like that. Overqualified would be another way to describe it. Which is I guess one of the reasons this does not tank entirely. And if you liked the other Sniper movies, you'll probably like this too in some way or another

Sniper: Ghost Shooter is a mindless, poor and boring action movie to a franchise of 6 movies for now. I haven't seen all the films and honestly i don't want to i saw the previous film the 5th one with Tom Berenger and it was awful and this one is in the same league Hollywood has lost it's track with all this sequels, reboots and requels. Poor Frank Zane also stars in this film and his screen time is so so and even tho there's a lot of explosions and shootings the film continues to go with this lifeless and boring characters that we have but also references to much much better films such as Die Hard the original John McTiernan movie from 1988. Sniper 6 is just a boring, dumb movie that you might enjoy for a Sunday Night with your friends and family i give it a 4/10.
