Fat Albert (2004)
Animated character Fat Albert emerges from his TV universe into the real world, accompanied by his friends Rudy, Mushmouth, Old Weird Harold and Dumb Donald. Though the gang is flabbergasted by the modern world, they make new friends, and Albert attempts to help young Doris become popular. But things get complicated when Albert falls for her older sister, Lauri, and must turn to creator Bill Cosby for advice.

The Worst Film Ever
Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
As another "selective" parent and mother of children aged 5, 8 and 13, we all found this movie enjoyable. For the parent, it was seeing the Fat Albert I watched as a kid, with the same moralistic values that are so often left out/compromised these days, even in "G" rated movies. I really appreciated that they stayed true to the cartoon and gave me a little "history" (true?) as well.Also, the film was well cast and it was gratifying seeing the "gang" develop and adapt in the "Real world" in ways that made them better--and I didn't even know I was rooting for it!The kids all found it entertaining, especially the *still!* coolness of Fat Albert and the *updated* music.Besides, gotta love Kyla Pratt and Kenan!!We will gladly add this to our collection!
I wish i could give it lower than a 1. Because it sucked. This film was yet another risk that should not have been taken. I should have left when i could. if you paid money for this film i'm glad you had an hour and a half to sit on your butt watching a fat guy say hey hey hey 24 freaking 7. So if you enjoy fat annoying guys and stupid a$$ movies that are excuses to pig out on milk duds and buttered popcorn this movie is for YOU!!! I hope to the dear Lord that this was yet another film that the directors were high on. Because, if this was a movie they were serious about then Hollywood has seriously sniffed too much white- out. My favorite part you may ask? Hmmmm.....Getting a restraining order for trying to get my money back.enough said.
i have to say i was highly disappointed when i saw this movie.nothing like fat albert.first of all if your going to Bring fat albert to life then don'y make it so that he turns into life through the t.v. screen.no.and also the costumes were horrible.fat albert looked like a partial-stuffed pillow case.and the music what happened to the 70's soul disco and funk?and 2 of the characters get robbed of what we loved them for.mushmouth gets robbed of his blubbering and dumb donald takes of his head.this is the total wrong approach to make a fat albert movie.also bill cosby was in the movie for about a nano-second.just not what i expected in seeing a fat albert movie.
For the answer, just watch this. I can't understand how money could have been given to support this script. Maybe Bill Cosby paid for it all. Otherwise, I'm sure the executive who green lit this has been let go. The plot, which I think is the stupidest plot I've seen, involves the Fat Albert gang coming out of the TV into the real world. They are there to help Doris solve her problems, mainly being that she has no friends. And the gang begins to "fade" the longer they stay. The fading consists of wearing lighter shades of clothes, and other characters saying things like "you look like you're losing your color". Plus they can see through their hand and pants. The pants thing was just another unfunny joke.I can't say how unfunny and dumb this was. It wasn't good enough to be one of those bad movies you can't help but find amusing because it's so bad.FINAL VERDICT: The worst film I've ever seen. The story was so dumb and nothing was funny.
