Morgan Spurlock subjects himself to a diet based only on McDonald's fast food three times a day for thirty days without exercising to try to prove why so many Americans are fat or obese. He submits himself to a complete check-up by three doctors, comparing his weight along the way, resulting in a scary conclusion.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

We had to watch this movie several times at school. Though most of my classmates are too stupid to understand the concept of fast food being unhealthy, this movie is well made and entertaining.

"Fast food makes you fat and is unhealthy" that is basically all there is to this movie it's just stating information that anyone watching it should already know, it's not a huge secret. Honestly it ticks me off that this film is so anti fast food companies, if you honestly believe that McDonald's is causing problems for your health ( which if you go everyday it definitely is) just stop going it's not that hard, go to your local grocery store and pick up bread and some lunch meat and some mayo, (very cheap) make yourself some sandwiches.Stop blaming McDonald's for your poor choices

So, let me get this straight. Eating 5,000 calories, everyday, with no exercise will make you fat? Lord have mercy. How could I have been so stupid?Look here, people... This documentary is ridiculous. If you honestly believe for a second that you can eat anything in the amounts that he was and not gain weight, I pity you; you're an idiot. Granted, processed foods have the added bonus of slowly shutting down your body's systems when you eat nothing but processed foods, but eating processed food as a last resort, or a treat (both the former and the latter being consumed on occasion; "on occasion" being every 1-3 months), is not going to kill you or make you sick. Don't be stupid.Fast food is not the evil culprit of obesity in this country; it's just a factor among many factors. We live in a society of stupidity, laziness, and unrestrained pleasure-seeking. What do you expect? Thin, happy, faithful people with mental clarity and no addiction? Give me a break.

First watched this movie when i was at high school, it was a great idea to alert us, french student, against danger of being a junk-food eater. Few years later, as a medical student, i love watching this kind of movie. I would advice to all to watch "Supersize me", "Fed Up!" and "Food matters". I'm really touched by the fight against those lobbies. We don't have any nutritional formation, but as everybody knows "We are what we eat", this would take its sense by seeing this. The success of companies like McDo or KFC shows us that they are winning a fight, they are making us eating their food, and that's the most alarming problem. Why are teens becoming fat? And so do adults? In this drama, Morgan Spurlock is actually risking his own life in the quest of these answers. That could appear totally dumb but we need this kind of people, courageous and who want to change things. While watching this, you would be confronted to a hard reality, we don't see how things are moving. For the new generation, that's already normal to see junk-food restaurants at each street corner. Watch this, and share it to your friends, you don't have any excuse. It is totally free, go on Youtube, and let's change. I know that this review is very personal but i don't think you could watch it without changing yourself. You can not dislike this movie, simply because it shows us how reality is, if you don't like it, so you don't like how our world is, and then it is up to you to change it at your own scale.
