A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Want to see Selene, Dracula, and Tyrion Lannister in one movie? This movie is the answer. The three are awesome.Matthew looks like Michael Corvin in Underworld, only rougher. He would make a wonderful Michael Corvin, a berserk version of the vampire lycan hybrid that unleashes all its immortal power. Sadly, that would never happen.I have gone off the topic... Anyway, I checked out the movie because of the amazing Kate Beckinsale, who portrays my Underworld vampire goddess Selene. This movie only reminded me of how versatile Kate is. She is able to play a range of characters, from badass vampire to sweet beautiful lady. This story asks a thought provoking question: (how well) can you handle your child being different from other people in terms of their physical appearance?

There's enough of this movie to compel you to venture into it's bizarre premise, but not enough to satisfy you with bizarre things to justify sitting through it all in one sitting. I like bad movies that are fun, the Room, Troll 2. This is not one of those movies. It's an oddity to be sure, but a painful, slow, and awkward oddity that just makes you feel like you wasted a part of your life somehow. It's not bad enough to be funny and it isn't good enough to transcend the odd premise it has going against it.Dwarfs, little people... or whatever the politically correct term is nowadays deserves a better movie to help overcome prejudice people have towards them, but this is a really bad attempt at tackling that topic.Game of Thrones is actually much better at that point of making you sympathize with small people, this just makes you want to have a lobotomy to get rid of the headache you'll have.

Huge disappointment. Great cast, and it started out really promising, but by the end it was total Movie of the Week. Not sure what they were thinking - the movie seemed nicely offbeat during the first half but then it got bogged down in melodrama. I learned a lot about dwarfism of course, which seems like it was the point, but I didn't enjoy the movie and that's a shame. Kate Beckinsale is a terrific actress who can move effortlessly among genres, but she is ultimately wasted here in a part that a much less talented woman could have played. It was fun to see so many well-known Little People, and they were all excellent, but not enough to save the movie. Too bad, because this could have been something special.

In this movie,Patricia Arquette appear in some scenes as a girlfriend of Peter Dinklage, in a bed ,playing a kind of erotic games, the scene is so sexy,Patricia show a pair of wonderful legs, and a divine anatomy...I'm agree with the friend that said, he wanted more focus in a Dinklage-Arquette relationship, it could be very interesting,Patricia shows her beauty in "Stigmatta" again,is very clear for me that she has a special Charisma, and sweetness,in addition, she is smart, bold, and tenaciousand in the movie "the badge" with Billy Bob Thorton, she is so beautiful too Thanks Patricia..¡¡¡¡¡ you are a Goddess...¡
