This is pretty funny. I can't go into any detail because it's been a while since I've seen it but I can describe it as a fast farce with good performances. The plot has something to do with two imported killers trying to knock off obnoxious Miami resident and debtor Stanley Tucci. The opening scene was ominous though. A Christ-like figure -- bearded, long-haired, and wearing a beatific smile while being haloed by a light behind him -- addressed the camera directly. He introduces the story, says he will now turn over the narration to someone more closely involved with the events, and tells us, "My name is Puggy. I live in a tree." I'm glad the remote was not closer than it was. It's cleverly written and nicely done in an inoffensive way. You'll probably enjoy it if you don't look for some sort of serious message behind the pratfalls and contretemps.

Story? Ridiculous! But what this movie has is a lot of familiar stars doing some very funny things. This is crime/terrorist/comedy/love story/action type movie; all rolled into one. It's never dull; but the first twenty minutes or so were a little confusing; they through all the characters at you and your wondering what do these characters have to do with all these others. It starts to come together, and will give you several belly laughs. At it's heart there's quite a bit of action and a lot of laughs. The action is Road Runner an Wylie Cayote like. No one really gets hurt very bad. I turned to this film for some light entertainment with some laughs. This film delivered in a big way; I got a lot of laughs and felt better afterwards. Far from sophisticated; but funny.

There aren't too many comedies I like to watch over and over, but this is one of them. This is one of those 'ridiculous' comedies, not one of the overrated 'intelligent' ones. You will laugh hard at this one. It's not a gross-out comedy either, and doesn't have meaningless boobies (if such a thing is possible), it's just absurd... in a good way.I think what I like most about this one is the way the story flows. It's the most logical sequence of ridiculous events I have ever witnessed. Everything makes perfect sense. Not only that, but there are a ton of characters, and each one has a distinct personality, each one is funny in their own way. There are some tough choice in life. Like, should you choose the Arrivals or Departures lane when you're driving to the airport? Well, we're arriving at the airport... but we want to depart soon...

The people behind this film also did 'Get Shorty,' based on a cool Elmore Leonard story. The cast of this film are a good mix of knowns and lesser knowns, but all bring something shining to the effort. Stanley Tucci is excellent and plays this type of character with freshness and wit. Janeanne Garofalo plays the cop with just the right mix of femininity and backbone. Even Johnny Knoxville's character is hilarious. The writers of this screenplay will keep you in stitches with the sharp dialogue. If you pay close attention to the interplay, you may find yourself laughing out loud! Consider yourself warned. Keep an eye on these producers: they know how to put out great comedy.
