Einstein's God Model (2016)
For thousands of years, evidence of life after death has eluded mankind. Science is about to change that. With the help of a physicist, a blind medium, and Thomas Edison’s final experiment, Brayden Taylor embarks on a quest to contact his deceased fiancee. For his love to transcend dimensions, he must defy the laws of quantum physics. He must defy the balance nature demands. He must defy ... Einstein’s God Model.

Strong and Moving!
Just perfect...
Absolutely brilliant
Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
This indie film is just plain fun. Sure, it's amateurish, but...It mentions some real ideas in physics (past and present) -- GUF theory; quantum theory; string theory; membranes; etc.It includes some actual history about Thomas Edison. It names some real physicists -- Einstein (obviously), Tesla, Bohr, etc. (check out the opening credits!)The props (early electronic devices) look authentic. One of the writers seems to have a medical background -- some nice details.Given the film's limited budget, the special effects are pretty good. The acting is good enough to carry the plot.I would compare this movie favorably to the first "Flatliners" film (I haven't seen the recent remake).Watch it and judge for yourself.
Einstein's God Model is an indie sci-fi film that proposes an answer to the age-old question: What happens to us after we die? Overall, the film is highly entertaining with a plot that incorporates many elements of a good story. The comic relief from the mostly serious situations the characters find themselves in is great. The acting overall is very good, with only a few scenes that contain some so-so performances. Despite being a low-budget film, it boasts some impressive special effects. The theoretical physics in the film is presented in a way that the audience can follow without any prior knowledge and without becoming "lost in the science." This is the type of film that will stick with you long after you watch it.
There are a few haters in the reviews here. Not sure what movie they watched, but I loved this film. This is the first time I've ever been motivated to leave a review for any movie, but I felt like this little indie film needed a thumbs up. It's so hard to find intellectual scifi these days. Either they're too slavish to the science and the story is dry or they're too fast and loose with the science and it's really more fantasy (e.g. Stranger Things). This piece falls right in the Goldilocks zone for me. If you're interested in M-theory, parallel universes, and what happens after we die, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to see more from this director and cast!
Saw it at Comicon (where it won best picture) and so excited to discover it got distribution! Not your typical indie sci-fi. Thoughtful and complex science with mesmerizing special effects. Minus one star for inconsistent camera-work and a few less than stellar performances. Still for the budget, it's pretty impressive. Sequel please!
