This isn't about a whiny princess, this is about a young girl who never even thought that she was a witch. I would consider her very caring. I say the TV series "Sabrina the teenage witch" copied this totally. If you think the TV show was made up by accident, think again! I really loved the music in this, it is so jazzy and sexy. How can anyone in the world not like the soundtrack? It is just awesome, hey I might consider putting the songs on the ol music player to lighten me up ;)Robyn Lively looked absolutely dazzling regardless of what she wore. The outfits they gave her looked just lovely on her. She has got to be in her teens since she looks so young as 12! She's a great actress and like, I never even heard of her before!I really loved this film and definitely would suggest this to all ages!

This review is coming from an 18-year-old girl's perspective, so obviously I didn't grow up in the 80s watching this movie as most of the movie reviewers here have. I may be grading this movie quite harshly comparing this movie with the current movies out, but I'm really trying not to. This movie, quite bluntly, is cheesetastic and its plot is unremarkable. Sure, it had its funny bits (((SPOILER: the lead character, Louisa, using a voodoo doll to control her teacher, who has penchant to humiliate Louisa- is a fine example))) and there were moments in the movie in which you probably weren't suppose to laugh, but you'll end up doing so anyway. There were also many predictable moments that had me rolling my eyes when I guessed correctly. If you're like me and didn't grow up in the 80s/ personally witnessed it- you will discover by watching this movie that it's 90 minutes gone out of your life that you will never get back- in my case however it's 72 minutes since megavideo cut me off. I found Dirty Dancing and Footloose much more enjoyable 80s films. However, if you're looking for witch-type films, you may enjoy The Craft much better.

teen witch is the 80s classic about louise, a shy misfit with typical teenage girl problems: the boy she loves doesn't know she's alive, her parents are washed-up sitcom actors, and senior boys rap in front of her locker! then louise discovers she has magic powers and that's just the beginning...OK, the acting is horrible, the plot makes no sense, and random characters burst into song, but seriously i love this movie with all my heart. i would give anything for a continuous loop of it in my head. it always makes me crack up every time. this movie has a lot to offer. great music, big hair, green heels and orange socks over pink leggings. so if you haven't seen it, you're missing out.and remember...the real magic is believing in yourself

when i first saw this movie on Disney channel it was my favorite movie of all time then it stopped coming on, and i looked everywhere to find it but then one day it was on TV and i taped it so i watched it again after six years. so anyone out there u have to watch this movie It is so good! they have to make a teen witch 2 or a tribute to it again or i will be really mad even know this movie is not very popular and no one really knows about it, it is still one of my favorite movies. the funny thing is, is that they don't even sell this movie in the stores its like its not even real. every time i go to stores to buy it they so no we don't have it. my favorite people in the movie are Serena and Richie they are so funny. Richie is such a pig and i love when Serena makes her weird foods.P.S Louise is hot.
