A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

How did he change into and out of the uniform so quickly? How did he get into every house/building without making himself known, without making ANY sounds at all? He is supposed to be a serial killer not a witch...He is only human! How did he go from having post traumatic stress disorder to actually assuming the identity of Harry? We see him taking meds and going over the incident again and again so we do know that he distinguishes between himself and Harry. How the heck does he go from that to actually being/thinking he is Harry?? And of course he only needs his name called to come back to his original self and a minute after he thinks he's Harry again. And of course, he doesn't die after a shot to the chest and he definitely isn't affected by fire!Apart from his character, everyone knows the US has a weird fascination with guns yet only one person seems to own one in the film and no one takes any precautions against the serial killer that's supposed to have made his comeback. Axel wants police guarding his house and we see a woman who is scared of her own shadow and hasn't realized the killer is inside the house already trying to protect Axel's kid. So basically, everyone is worthless, no one can fight back, everyone makes the wrong moves so that the killer kills as many as he can, because that's what people wanna see I guess?I understand it's just a film, but the plot holes were so huge that I couldn;t enjoy it and see past them.

Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. Horrible. So many flaws, and I have so little desire to think about this movie enough to list them all. Here are my top 4 reasons for why I wanted my money back. 1. The 3-D aspect is completely wasted. There's no creativity at all. Be prepared to have guns pointed at you and to have pieces of eyeballs fly towards the screen. That's about it.2. Even the jump moments are repetitive. Each and every time, the characters are going to look over in one direction, and then....BAM! There's the killer. Every single time. Count on it.3. These are the absolute stupidest characters to ever be seen on screen. They would make a drunk 15-year-old seem like a genius in comparison.4. The "twist" ending. Ugh. Ugh.Do us all a favor, and don't give these "people" any more money. Who knows what kind of poo they will make next time, if they get the opportunity

In the mining town of Harmony, an accident buries six miners alive. Mine owner's son Tom Hanniger (Jensen Ackles) is blamed. Harry Warden survives by killing the other miners with a pickax to save oxygen. He wakes up from a coma on Valentine's Day and starts killing with a pickax. He also attacks teens having a party at the mine. Tom had reluctantly joined his girlfriend Sarah (Jaime King). They, Axel Palmer (Kerr Smith) and his girlfriend Irene (Betsy Rue) survive the attack. Sheriff Burke (Tom Atkins) and his deputy arrive just in time and Harry scrambles back into the mine. Ten years later, Tom returns for his father's funeral and to sell the mine. Axel is now the sheriff and married to Sarah with a son named Noah. He's cheating on her with Megan (Megan Boone). Tom is staying at the local motel where the pickax killer massacres Irene, her trucker sex partner and the midget motel manager. Later in the mine, Tom comes face-to-face with the killer. There are a lot of cheesy 3-D gimmicks coming straight out of the screen. It is reminiscent of the early days of 3-D uses. There is camp value to the way it's done. There is also a functional serial killer mystery in this movie. I wouldn't say this is anything great but it's not half-bad as far as this type of horror goes.

This is unique slasher film in its own right, the suspense the tension in some of scenes and the pace of the story are all kept on good level. its actually one of those movies where i didn't need to take a break for a minute. the direction and acting were fine and the pace of the movie just make you keep watching till the title rolls. sound effects were good and i felt like the movie has that 80's appeal to it. there is some nudity but without it whats a slasher Hahn? i am also glad that the villain didn't die at the end of the movie which could be a good reason for a sequel. for the good times watch this one, highly recommended.
