I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Brilliantly made movie, not just for people into racing but for everyone. It tells it from the point of view of the people who make this sport awesome-The Riders. Awesomely made. The story line is also very good with a record being broken at the end also all the main characters that they have shown at the end end up in the hospital shows how dangerous it is of all the sports. This movie shows the true story without any edits and makes it stand out wonderfully. If you are true racing fan you are gonna enjoy it even more. Very different from all the mainstream Hollywood racing movies which brings in different angles of crime. This is unlike those, concentrates on purely the sport and racing. Its All about racing in this movie.

Just watched this while on a train trip- hang onto your seats for a couple of hours of mad, crazy speed in an amazing setting! This is very similar to Journey to Le Mans in that it follows a number of characters (competitors), however with a focus on one in particular and his efforts to go from a odious finish, to a win.I won't give it away, suffice to say the ending was not what I expected, and because I know next to nothing about the race itself, hadn't seen or heard any of the events shown in this movie. (Is it a movie or a documentary????)I've worked with Formula 1 cars for a few years and this type of race absolutely astounds me! It has nowhere near the safety and control that the F1's or MotoGP races have, yet they travel at these insane speeds that are comparable! It's just crazy to watch this event! Well, worth the watch regardless of what type of racing you're into. The cinematography was great- some really good footage, particular the rider cams.As I said, hang onto your seat....

I saw the film in Maidstone and it was stuck in the smallest of the screens at a multiplex and it was packed. There was a cross section of bikers on bikers, bikers like me in the car, plus lots of people that might not be bikers at all.Having been to the TT quite a few times I thought I knew what to expect. I have seen on-bike coverage many times but the 3D element of this one was superb. As a documentary it was very well put together and we got to see both aspects of the the lives of the riders both current and past.I can't wait for the sequel based on the 2011 TT!!!

If you are into your motor-sports you NEED to see this film, it was fantastic from beginning to end! I went with two biker friends who said exactly the same thing. Another friend went to see it a few days before me and he's not really into bikes like me and he said it was that good he would happily go watch it again, and not only that, he wanted to buy a motorbike.Local lad Guy Martin stole the show with his outrageous quotes and crazy bike riding, but of course, the other interviews were great too. The film is a credit to the TT races and I have no doubt that many people have been inspired to head down there for this years racing. I would not be surprised if there were record numbers of people there too this year. This has also got to be the best film I've seen in 3D yet. I've seen Avatar, Final Destination and the most recent SAW film in 3D and can honestly say this has been the best, without even trying to be a full blown 3D film, you really get a depth of field from the riders bikes and get a real feel for speed.Fantastic film, if I could give it 11 stars, I would have, loved it!
