A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

I really like Corey Haim and will give any film he is in a go. This film was horrendously bad. Everything about it was awful. The script and direction was like a student production. Apart from Haim the acting was atrocious too. On top of that there was this really horrible, cheap-sounding score that was constantly in the background. The film just seemed to be a sequence of random scenes without any progress towards any kind of storyline (for the small part of it I could stand to watch). This film was so incredibly horrid that after about 15 minutes I just could not bear it and had to turn it off, and I generally have a high tolerance for what some people might deem 'bad' films.

Just One of the Girls is a well put, comedy. I recommend this film. This is one of Corey Haims top 5 best roles. I'd say number 5 actually. The Lost Boys, Blown Away, License to Drive and Watchers come before this movie. This is one of Corey Haim's better roles. This doesn't do better than Blown Away but its watchable. Very good storyline and camera action. The film could of used more comedic elements. I never seen Corey Haim in this kind of role, its pretty amusing. If you come across this movie, I suggest you watch it. Other actors include Nicole Eggert (Tv's Baywatch), Lochlyn Munro (Scary Movie, Freddy vs. Jason).

I watched this movie like 5 times and i loved it each time. But the last time I wached , I saw something I didn't think I would see. It was in the last 5 minutes of the movie. I saw Alanis Morissette singing. She was acting as a singer and she was singing some cheesy dance song. I guess if you watch more carefully you'll see wonders.

ALANiS is the only reason to watch this movie! If they ever re-release the movie the cover should feature her picture and she should be the first one listed in the credits! The movie has some early Canadian ALANiS hits like "Too Hot", "An Emotion Away", and remixes of "Feel Your Love" (Which she performs at the end!), these songs and her performance/cameo is the only enjoyable parts of the whole film. ALANiS didn't even have to try to steal the spotlight...she must be the only reason this movie is still printed. The rest however is ridiculous far-fetched tripe which is as boring as it is disgusting(ie. The shower scene). When a film features a guy shaving his legs, wearing a long blonde wig, and sporting panty hose, you know you're in for a real "winner". The fact that everybody is convinced that this guy is actually a female is incredible, anyone could tell that it's really a guy. The acting is nothing short of pathetic (not including ALANiS), and the plot is ludicrous. Watch this film for one purpose...ALANiS. I would normally rate this movie a 0, but since ALANiS is in it...10. Rock on ALANiS!!!
