I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Recently i have watched quite a few shark films, this is definitely the worst!I think its an insult to call this a film. It looks like it was recorded from an IPhone. 0 amount of effort went into making this mess. I watched the trailer before viewing this movie, and its something when the trailer makes absolutely no point, as its absolutely means nothing whatsoever to the whole plot.In short a military shark has escaped .. a teacher wants revenge for the shark eating her sister .. Teenagers wanting to go to the island to assume look at the shark? In the trailer its mentioning about a perfect vacation, utter rubbish. The actors are beyond awful. You don't gain any sort of warmth for any of the characters. In some cases, it looked like they actually have forgotten their lines, and it was improvised. Its a shame, because the only decent thing about this film is the poster advertising it. Summery: Positives - If you need something to add to the trash, the disc is perfect. - Nice movie poster.Negatives - This "film" exists. - Appalling acting from every "actor". - The effects for this "flying shark" is the biggest pile of rubbish. This film is 2015, the effects really take the mick with a film this modern. Brett Kelly is producer. "FLYINGGGGG SHARKKKKKKKKKKK!" .... OK

This movie was a disaster from the beginning. I knew it would be horrible from the title alone, but when I saw the PowerPoint style intro, I know it would be a special kind of bad movie. The actors were dull, the cinematography was bad, and the special effects were atrocious. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the shark scenes were ripped from Jurassic Shark; they were both so terrible and pointless. However, I did have fun laughing at the stupidity of this movie, and I enjoyed pointing out everything that was wrong with this film. I would not recommend this for anyone, especially younger kids, because of the needlessly drawn-out scene with the topless lady and the few gory scenes involving the obviously fake shark attacks. If you're looking for a dumb shark movie, keep looking. Trust me.

I did my research on this film before watching it, I read lots of reviews across the internet and most of the ratings I have found give this film a generous 1/10. Most agree that this is a really really bad film and also agree that this film will rob you of your time which could have been used better on something else. Let's be clear this film is not a Hollywood epic or even a underground cult gem, it is not charming and it is not sexy.I have to be honest, I disagree with a lot of the reviews I've read, okay the film was pretty bad but it was not the worst film I have ever seen. I think other reviewers have missed the fact that this film doesn't take itself seriously at all, even the credits demonstrate this with the "only joking" statement after saying it's based on a real event. The film is supposed to be bad and at that it actually succeeds. Sure the acting was (very) bad, the direction and production could have been better, even the shark was embarrassing (not to mention the comical shark attacks) BUT it was supposed to be bad. As an ex-film studies student this is similar to a lot of the films produced by people in my class; harmless and cheap, a movie they made to pass the time and do something rather than sit around bored. In fact, as the film unfolded I found myself thinking if I was given a challenge to make a shark based film on the cheap and all I had was a small video camera and a laptop this would be seen as a good result. The line of the film for me which had me laughing out loud came towards the end when the 'sheriff' asked his assistant; "I wonder if that's the same flying shark that everyone is talking about?!"Take this film with a huge huge huuuge pinch of salt and you may also find yourself laughing out loud at randomly bad shark attacks and dire acting/narrative, much like I did. This film is NOT on par with films like "Sharknado" or £3 Headed Shark Attack" but it's also not to be taken seriously and is far from the worst film you will ever watch. Give it a go but remember that huge pinch of salt, leave expectations at the door, and just give it a go.

This film is incredibly stupid, poorly acted and plain horrible, however I really enjoyed this one. It reminds me of the films we did ourselves, a fun project that never was supposed to be more than that. As this is a stupid movie with sharks I'll have to make the obvious comparison to Sharknado. The effects are pretty much as bad as Sharknado, but the film just has more heart, you can see how the 'actors' actually try to make this work, so I would consider this film to actually be better. I'm not really sure what most of the people who saw this actually expected, but if you ever tried to make a movie yourself this is pretty much how it will turn out, which makes this actually enjoyable.
