Such a frustrating disappointment
The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
No story, Nothing to gain from this movie. Farah Khan could be given a worst director award for this movie.
I really cant fathom what's gone into Farah Khan... She has a talent of making extremely bad movies...This movie was so childish and jokes were so flat that could put you to sleep in no time... Except for Sheila ki Jawani, there's barely anything thats mentionable. All in all, the movie was written, acted in a way that it felt that director had no part to do.. Everyone did, what they wanted, in the worst way that too.. Im sorry Akki, I swear you have lost all respect.. giving greatest worst movies - Blue, Tasveer, this and what not... Time to act like a seasoned actor..
This was a perfect fit for Katrina. She is supposed to act a role of an aspiring film artist who does not have any skill. What a great fit. Wow.As usual Akshay overacts. The original Peter Sellers movie AFTER THE FOX has a well deserved 6.5. The Indians- hating Sellers must be laughing in his grave on is movie. How difficult was it for Farah Khan to copy the original without deviating the storyline? And lastly what is wrong with the Indian moviegoers....this movie made tons of money....
I'm kind of astonished by all the harsh reviews of this one... I found it pretty entertaining, albeit in a very silly way. I think the only way to approach a movie like this one is to realize right from the beginning that ordinary rules of logic are not going to apply, and stop expecting things to be remotely realistic or plausible, because they're not going to be. It's a deliberately ridiculous, over-the-top, screwball comedy, and if you expect any sort of realism or logic from it, then yes, you're going to be disappointed. It seems like some of the other reviewers were expecting something a little more serious and sensible, and I could certainly see how this film could be jarring if that's what you're after. But if you're just looking for something campy and fun, and are prepared to completely suspend disbelief, then it's definitely worth watching!
