There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

........................................................from Pasto,Colombia...Via: L.A. CA.. CALI, Colombia and ORLANDO, FL As far back as I can remember, my Colombian mother always told me: "Ay, Mijo! If you don't habe someseen nice to say...don't say anyseeng!" Obviously, my Mom never saw "Undefeatable"! The only bright spot I could detect in the entire film is when Cynthia Rothrock's character is asked by police to identify the body of her dead sister. Amazingly, her reaction is extremely raw, powerful, realistic and very believable. She must have dug deep within herself to reference some personal tragedy.Other than that, her overall performance is rather lackluster, to say the least...and she is the best actor in the film, by far! Perhaps a case could also be made for the natural, unenhanced martial arts sequences. They are a rather refreshing contrast to the slick, over-produced, sound effects and post-production embellished scenes we've gotten from both Hollywood and Hong Kong for decades.Oh! And the music soundtrack is, at times, passable. (I'll bet it was borrowed from another film, though!) The Director is Godfrey Hall (Real name: Godfrey Ho). Apparently, the concept of Production Values was lost in translation, as they are appallingly abysmal.I really wasn't in the mood for a "So bad it's really good" flick. Since 13 out of 19 reviews rated this 10* (Amazon and NF) I was expecting, at least, a solid 7* action movie. Boy, whatever you 10* raters ingested before seeing this...can you share some with me? 3.5* rounded up to 4*.....ENJOY/DISFRUTELA?!?! Any comments, questions or observations, in English o en Español, are most welcome!

And now, having read through all the reviews – naturally thumbing down all those that deny the films greatness – and seeing that everything has been said, I feel I must have my say.How could I forget the first time I watched this movie with my buddies? We were laughing like imbeciles, even hours later, bouncing around the room, swinging from chandeliers while defecating against the walls. RIP, Bobby, watching the film was too much for him: his heart and brain imploding simultaneously. Mike ended his days in a lunatic asylum and Fred, well, let's just say he's still somewhere out there, hunting for female eyes. How could any of us suspected the mind-shattering experience that is "Undefeatable"? What sets director Godfrey Ho apart from the James Camerons, Stanley Kubricks or Ed Woods, is the fact that the man isn't really a director. Actually, he's a former accountant from Hong Kong, who came up with the glorious idea of buying, stealing and re-editing leftover B- and C-movies, splicing them up with footage of Europeans wearing silly ninja costumes and then selling the crap to idi… , pardon, to viewers like me. Sadly, after cheating everybody with whom he had ever worked, Godfrey has given up on directing. Instead, being the gift-that-keeps-giving that he is, he now teaches film-making at the university of Hong Kong. The second time I encountered "Undefeatable" was when I opted against "Titanic" for a romantic evening with my girlfriend. In that night, I asked her to marry me – she accepted, still a little shook up by the experience and we've been happily married since. Although, nowadays I sometimes suspect that she drinks, after having given birth to a little two-headed girl, whom we named Godfrey Ho-Marie.And now, as the warden is about to return me to my room (which I share with a giant Indian chief), I still hum to myself that old Frank Sinatra song: "Undefeatable, that's what you are … un-de-featable …." As to rating this film – I'd give it all the points in the world!

The Psychiastist, the cops, the common citizen, everyone knows martial arts in the world of this crazy movie! Now, if your reading this it is probably because you, like me hunt the web for entertaining bad movies. Man, you have struck the mother load. There are thousands of movies in this site that are reviewed as "so bad its good" movies, the problem is that mostly even when a movie has funny cheesy dialog, bad acting, hilariously bad scripts, sometimes the whole experience is dimmed because most of this flicks are boring, or have very long boring parts. And that's where Undefeatable stands tall, because this movie just won't take a break! There is a fight or a rape or a violent murder every five minutes at least! like if it was a rule the makers self imposed! So if you are a bad movie lover, i assure that you wont believe the rhythm this movie has, that plus incredible bad actors, plenty of cheesy greasy dialog but most important of all a script that kinda manges to tie all sub-plots! Which is the first rule of story structure!!! Of course, all the subplots are ridiculous...but they do convert! So this movie is bad as they get and at the same time totally entertaining and that is what should urge you to see it, if you call yourself a bad movie hunter. The whole thing's on you tube which i am sure infringes right laws but if you hurry you may be able to catch it.You'll be amazed, that much i can assure you.

I simply HAD to comment this film. After purchasing a DVD of this for only £0.99, I have probably had the most amazing experience of a cinematic-nature in my life.Anyhoo.. I didn't know DVD's like these existed! Used to the shiny, Hollywood blockbusters I was quite shocked.Godfrey Hall II is a legend! His choice of cringe-worthy actors, awful choreography, even worse cameras and crummy film are effective in making a fairly entertaining film! Don Niam should be awarded for the bravery shown just for appearing on camera (oh, the hairstyle....) Cynthia Rothrock isn't the world's worst actor, and is actually quite attractive, but just doesn't seem to fit in, in my view.
