To all those who have watched it: I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do.
The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
My favorite film, when I was boy :) Excellent actor's play, funny episodes and jokes, great music and songs. All this makes the film an outstanding example of soviet art for a child. What really thrill me, was episode, when sleeping boy (in his own dream) decided to sleep!! (hello to Karlos Kastaneda :)) All adult actors are perfect, and all child actors are excellent! Plot is quite unusual - evil cards tries to conquer chess court using dirty (but very fanny) tricks. They want to kill chess Prince, and they are almost succefull. But appearing of soviet boy spoils all cards magic, and frees Chess country. And of course, there are chases, magic, adventures, and real friendship which wins. If I'd get to this dream, I'd never wake up :)
