Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Saw this film at the Jacksonville Film Festival after attending Sharon Y. Cobb's screenwriting seminar. Both the film and the seminar were very impressive. Lighthouse Hill has great dialogue, interesting & quirky characters, a beautiful story, and solid performances - one of the best films at the festival.
I had the opportunity to attend the Jacksonville Film Festival and see this film. What a delight. Excellent script, dialogue, characters, acting, and production value. Can't wait to purchase this one. I'm still "flying".Robb Chamberlain
