It's the Girl in the Red Truck, Charlie Brown (1988)
Spike waves to a young woman driving a red pickup truck through the desert of Needles, California every day; it is the highlight of his day. In this combined animated and live-action special, we meet an aerobics instructor, Jenny, who wants to be a big city jazz dancer. She and Spike drive around looking at the desert scenery and spending some time at a roller rink. However, when Spike is accidentally thrown out of the skating rink he runs off and is pursued by people on a nighttime coyote hunt.

Good concept, poorly executed.
Best movie of this year hands down!
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
The special about Charlie Brown read the letter to Snoopy its from his brother Spike, He tell him when He met the Girl in red truck named Jenny She to taken him in her house before her husband show up, his name is Jeff. Jeff taken Jenny and their friend named Molly on it way to skating party but spike is no where he gone before their looking for him but coyote hunters show up to kill him. and so Spike will stay in the desert for his own home.This Peanuts special is for my childhood, I watch this movie when I was baby but I really love it, and so my mom too. but I really love this movie so much, Please Warner Home Video I want This Peanuts Special on DVD so badly. I don't know why Peanuts fans out there didn't like this special I kindly like this its Guilty Pleasure special for me
This is very odd, do i really want to watch an hour long met life commercial. With non-trombone adults and Spike included. Also with no other major characters.HERE YOU GO FAN!! HERE IS YOUR DEVIANTART GIRL IN THE RED TRUCK METLIFE MOVIE!!! LOL!!!
This is NOT, I repeat your typical Peanuts cartoon, there are tons of those and they air on TV every year on Valentine's Day, Halloween, and Christmas. This one is more about Snoopy's desert dwelling brother, Spike and a young woman he befriends (who happens to be a live-action person). This special was made in 1988, around the same time "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" came out, which was cutting edge in new ways of combining 2-d animation and live-action footage. Charlie Brown and Snoopy are the only "regular" Peanuts characters who appear in this special, but only at the beginning and the end, reading the letter Spike had sent them about his experience.
Unlike the rest of the Peanuts specials, this one is mostly a live action film, with animation mostly limited to Spike and some cameo appearances by the regular Peanuts cast. Mostly I see it as father Charles' affectionate gift of a starring film role to his daughter Jill. It was also a great way to showcase the ice rink Charles owned.
