Active Shooters (2015)

Good movie but grossly overrated

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

ACTIVE SHOOTERS is another mindless indie action film that manages to forget to include any action scenes in its running time. It has a futuristic setting and is split between grubby scenes in a run down building and fake-looking outdoor shots with added in arty effects. The tale, about brothers fighting back against a crime wave, is interminable, with little plot or indeed narrative cohesion.

Four brothers are known vigilantes. They leave a photo at the scene and post pictures on line. A police chief asks them to go after a crime boss because the cops are dishonest. The brothers are over-the-top in their antics and leave a trail of blood behind them. BTW they have 24 hours to capture (and not kill) the crime boss or the devices in their chest will kill them.Yes there is lots of killing, with much of it being idiotic. The film is done in a campy grindhouse style, bad by design. The humor comes from the banter between the three brothers (one doesn't talk) who actually have good comic delivery and timing. Unfortunately the lines were not that funny. Jesse-Lee Lafferty and Reeping know how to tell jokes, but not write them. Mildly amusing and entertaining.Guide: F-word. No time for sex or nudity.

Well guy who ever downloaded this movie and watched it I hope they will agree with me, This movie is a crap.First of all "to the maker" change the name to "Useless Shooter" doe you really understand what you have made it.I understand this is low budget movies but at least you can use a high definition camera.Editing and acting is bad and sometime screen get black and you don't even understand what is going on.I tried had to swallow some of the things but low budget movies can also be made in proper manner and a decent way.I love English movies and watch what ever is available but guys you are spoiling my interest. I have noticed that the whole movie background seems artificial as if it has been made in just in garage and tried to edit and put the background.IT team have to gear up and do something proper man.Have to say at last I don't anyone to waste the time to DL and watch this movies, I am sorry but nothing I liked in it.Next time when you team up for any low budget movies try to get general theme or real story which suit your budget and give at least watching experience.
