The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

After having the honor of accepting the 'Best Feature Action Film' award (on behalf of the entire cast, crew and executive producers from Los Angeles) in Orlando, FL last month, I have to say 'Astro' is a solid film worth watching. Everyone involved in this project did an outstanding job! I look forward to helping promote 'Astro' and starting production on the sequel, hopefully next year!

This movie (if you can call it that) had a 5.2 IMDB rating so I thought, well I've watched movies with lower ratings that were fine for me. How this got more than 1, I'll never know. The acting from the start was as bad as I've seen, the special effects, woeful and story line awful. I just can't stress how bad this movie is. If you don't believe me, just watch the first 5 minutes and you'll know what I mean. This review asks if there are any spoilers? I should have said "Yes, if you watch the movie your whole day will be spoilt" After seeing some of the reviews I am speechless and gobsmacked! 10/10 by some reviews, I believe this is what drove the rating up in the first place, come on, be realistic.

Aliens, ancients aliens, Roswell, atomic bomb....back story. Then we have Jack, who in 1988 was fighting in Iraq? While Hussein was still in power? No explanation. Then there is an alien that has Jack's DNA...which is on file because? Is Jack a criminal? sexual predator? Once you get past that, the track lighting, 70's wood paneling, and an alien woman who looks like she fell asleep in a tanning booth (nice cleavage) it is a pretty bad film. The dialogue was boring and trite. The acting was phoned in. The fight choreography was done using speed up and slow motion. Dominique Swain was a cameo. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity

Let my start right off by saying that at the time I am writing this review this movie has a 6.5 IMDB score. For most movie lovers and IMDB followers you know that this should mean that this movie should at least be watchable. When I began to watch the trailer i got nauseous! The scenes looked poorly put together the actors lacked the magic for a good movie and while the plot was ok the end result is beyond subpar - and that was easily attained from just the trailer. If you have any doubt feel free to watch the movie and when you're done write your honest review. I'll be very interested to read it.
