The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Oh my god, WHY, did I waste my precious time on this film? It is pathetic, waaaay OTT and unrealistic, and one of the worst films I have ever seen in my life. Yes, MY LIFE. I am embarrassed for Yash Raj films, the poor guys have to live with the horrible news that yes, they produced this terrible film. This is by far, the most, trashy, sexual, eyebrow-raising movie I have ever seen by Yash Raj Films. I cringe for them, I really do. Along with the terrible acting (or NO acting, for that matter) by Uday Chopra, combined with the lack of talent of the "Look At My Boobs" Tanisha, Neal 'n' Nikki has not one good thing about it at all. Even the music is not upto the standard left by YRF. The director, Arjun Sablok, did an embarrassingly bad job here.Honestly, I expected more. Much, much more.

I did have some expectations from this film because 1. It was a Yash raj production 2. When the songs were first shown on TV, they seemed catchy 3. The star(??!) cast was new. Well, I must tell u that I just couldn't sit through this movie. Uday, (with his red lips-what were the make up artists thinking???!) tries hard to look cool but fails miserably. I won't even get started on his acting (if u can call it that). 'Cleavage queen' Tanisha with all her screaming and ranting n raving just makes you want to pull your hair out in frustration. I think Uday was slightly more tolerable than her! She seriously needs to take acting lessons from her sister. The story is pathetic...the same old tried and tested formula. Absolutely no originality. There is nothing worth watching in this movie. Makes me wonder why it was made in the first place!

It is a great movie. I've been wondering why it didn't work that well. It is a fun, light-hearted, happy, cheerful, fresh movie. It is a real fast moving cute film. You'd never find it dragging and boring. It contains the element of subtle humor. It doesn't have nagging irritating characters, melodramatic scenes, unnecessary emotions, unnecessary violence etc. Even the climax of the movie, when Nikki is suppose to stop the engagement(thank God, not the final grand wedding), the story has a funny twist, unlike all the other movies where there is lots of crying, sacrifice, and blah blah blah..... The places where the movie is shot are really beautiful. The music of the movie is brilliant. It sounds very new and original. I has a touch of Punjabi + western + Indian classical + something like Arabic (I think). And of course, not to forget the choreography; which is also superb; fresh and decent, simple and elegant. The movie is overall decent. Decency is not about the clothes of a heroine in a movie. It is about the way she is portrayed; and I don't think Tanisha's role in the movie is reprehensible. Even the kissing and sex scenes are not picturized in a dis-respectable or vulgar manner. Another thing I don't understand is why people are complaining about the movie not being realistic. Why should a movie be realistic? If they wanted to see realistic practical things, they shouldn't be watching movies at all. They should be watching documentaries and news instead. Movies are for entertainment and this movie is thoroughly entertaining, especially because of the energetic roles/characters of the actors, the music, the dance etc. Everything about the movie is so lively and completely alive. Everyone's acting in the movie is good, the Indians' as well as the Canadians'. Tanisha Mukherjee and Uday Chopra have acted really well. For the short span of the movie, the characters are pretty well-etched, eg., the heroine's ego with respect to her being fired from jobs or being dumped by boyfriends. Even the psychology of the hero and heroine and their lack of communication just after their night together is shown naturally. Finally one movie doesn't show crap like 'I can't live without you' love. This movie shows just the optimum amount of attraction/emotions/love. I think after Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, this is the only cute movie of Yash Chopra/Aditya Chopra films. None of my friends had watched this movie, because of the general comment that it is not worth watching. But the day I finished my exam I got the CD and watched it. I somehow wanted to see it the day I saw the trailers. And after that most of my friends have watched it and they've all liked it. So, people, if you like bright, cheerful, cute, happy movies...this is the one for you.

OK, yeah, everyone's going bonkers over how vulgar, raunchy, and immoral this film is, but hey, this is a sex comedy--what can you really expect? Kya Kool Hai Hum was no exception. Please, please leave your brain at home before watching this movie. If you watch this movie seriously, you might get offended. This film is catered 100% to the NRI youth as it deals with a Candian-Indian looking for some action (21 girls in 21 days) before his wedding day. As absurd and shocking as the scenes and characters may seem, they weren't exaggerated. Yash Raj Films never leaves a job half-done and make sure it goes the full way to make a quality film. Neal 'n Nikki is no exception. Photography, music, direction, cinematography, etc. were all top-notch, and of course, the comedy was full-blown and in-your-face! Numerous scenes were hilarious, such as "Teenie & Beenie." This is not your regular Indian formula film. Songs were great, especially "Halla Re" and the ballad. Tanisha did a nice job. Uday Chopra suited his role. The DVD is top quality and has tons of special features!
