Raped. Disemboweled. Nearly decapitated. Dumped on the outskirts of a nature reserve, dead - or so they thought. She needed a hero that night, so that's what she became. This is Alison's tale. A tale of monsters, miracles and hope.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The subhuman savagery Alison Botha suffered at the hands of Frans du Toit & Theuns Kruger just shows why decent people need to master martial arts & or some form of powerful LHP occult techniques to deal with evil. Or @ the least get your pistol license. They could've just killed her & left her in peace, but no they raped her, then attempted to kill her in the most brutal way possible, disgustng & vile creatures to say the least!I liked when that police detective said "they were not cuffed intentionally". That had me in stitches LMAO:) They knew what time it was, anytime they don't put you in cuffs it's a challenge to "run away'. Just try it scums, you'll get a back full of hot lead:)It's good to see that Alison is making her life so much better just by finding the courage to speak about her ordeal. She's a truly strong woman, I hope she & her sons are happy, even if she said: "My marriage didn't work out". With the amount of trauma she sustained, it's no surprise to me.

I'm a paramedic so I may look at this differently than some. I can't imagine any way that her body survived this attack, but even beyond that, if you can believe it, her spirit survived, and that is nothing short of a miracle. It's very graphic, so if you are triggered, or delicate to such things you should probably pass it by. But my life is much better because I've seen this movie.I've seen some criticize the way that it's presented. I personally think that it's perfect in every way.I'm willing to bet that you've never heard a story like this before, and I'll bet dollars to donuts that you never will again. It's that incredible.

What a story of belief and hanging on even at your lowest point. Excellent film!

A very well directed piece of work, and a story for all who need inspiration. Hearing Alison Botha tell her version of events was chilling and sobering. This tale of survival is remarkable. The execution of the film was outstanding, and with its honest portrayal of events on the timeline (especially after the attack), it takes us into the beautiful direction of hope.
