Purely Joyful Movie!
Good start, but then it gets ruined
From my favorite movies..
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Two newborn babies, a girl and a boy are mixed up in the hospital. A Turkish and a German family experience this only when the Children are 16. Now the children swap families for two weeks to get to know the life of the other. From this plot i have expected nothing and was not disappointed . The film indulges in clichés, such as the non comic, speech impediment of the Turkish family, or the divorced over-cautious mother of the boy. The Turkish daughter is, of course, a Bitch and the German boy a Looser. Later, he is also shown how a real Turk behaves, what he naturally mimics exaggerated. In the end, it gets even to a bit of social criticism, as the German Mother don't recognize the Turkish Mother and believes it would be the cleaning lady. There is of course a happy ending. The boy gained self-confidence and the daughter is no longer a Bitch.
