Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

If you're a Communist or Neo-Nazi this film is not for you.If you're an American wondering why generational poverty is so pervasive in the American black community this film will shed some light on how we got here. It explores why so many American blacks continue to feel they are victims and why they remain unable to break out of the poverty brought upon them by the government programs designed to help them, and why there's nearly unanimous support of the Progressive people and programs which seem intended on destroying them.If you're looking to inform yourself or others about who really supported civil rights from the Civil War to the 1960s, there are also some good Historical notes and perspectives provided throughout. It was also nice to see proud, hopeful Americans willing to look beyond the troubles of the past towards a better tomorrow. It's bit slow in places and a bit flashy with unnecessary editing, but valuable for the facts offered and for the perspectives given, even if you don't agree with C.L. Bryant or others appearing.

First of all, Glenn Beck plays a minor role in this movie. He is shown in a few video clips, but so are many leaders of different races and opinions. I don't understand why some people think he plays a bigger part. This movie tells the story of C.L. Bryant and follows him as he searches through history and talks with people from all walks of life to discover why people seem to be sold out to a political party that may not even represent their point of view. I saw this movie in the theater and bought it to watch again at home with my children. I do not see it as promoting a political agenda. I believe the message is to refuse to let your vote be taken for granted. Instead of casting a ballot for a candidate simply because they are on a political ticket that your Mama always voted for, take time to learn about the issues and see who will best represent you in office. This is a good lesson for us all.

When I first started watching this movie, I was incredibly excited about half way through, I started thinking this movie is one of those "it should be mandatory for every American to watch", kind of like Bottled Up. Then for some reason, I started a downward slide. At the end, I realized why. This film is almost completely funded by Freedom Works. Freedom Works is an organization created by and funded by the Koch brothers. All Freedom Works events have the Koch family as the master puppeteers. I leave it to you to make your own decisions, but prior to watching this, one should really watch "Koch Brothers Exposed" documentary to understand the message trying to be pushed by this movie.

If you refer to the postings below mine, you will see 2 reviews that are accurate and 2 reviews from people who either A. Don't know the Truth, Or B. Don't want you to know the truth... I'm more inclined to choose C. All of the above. Great film, Informative, Accurate, and gives you references for the statements and the truth... I don't really want to include ant spoilers, but you should learn the truth about what happened in our history... More recent history really. I don't know how many of you were misinformed due to a public school or your phony beliefs, but when you look up the moments and events in this movie, you should be surprised that you have never "learned" this in school... If you can't put in a little effort yourself, you do not deserve to know.
