There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat: The Theater of War (2005) *** (out of 4)As the title suggests, this gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the production of Alfred Hitchcock's LIFEBOAT. We get interviews with Pat Hitchcock, Dr. Drew Casper, Robert Demott and Mary Stone, Hitchcock's granddaughter, as they discuss the making of the film, which was pretty much overlooked when released but has gained a big following over the years. We learn how Hitchcock was loaned out to Fox nd we see how he was worried because he feared what type of movie they'd want him to make. From here we learn about how the cast was selected, how he wanted to make sure this was pro-Allie and of course how he managed to get a cameo into a film set on a lifeboat. Overall this isn't all that well-detailed but what stories we do get are pretty entertaining. I think many of the highlights deal with star Tallulah Bankhead and how much troubled she caused with her co-stars as she was constantly talking down to them. Then there's the famous joke about her not wearing underwear during her scenes and what Hitchcock had to say about it.
