The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

The blurb on my cable TV guide made this sound like it was about people with body dysmorphia or eating disorders, but this film was so much more than that. Six vastly different types of people from all over the world bared their souls (and skin) to talk about their lives. My favorite two subjects were Dave (dancer from England) and Jose (former gang member), but all of the stories were fascinating. I think Dave's wonderful mother had a lot to do with her son's matter- of-fact view of his challenges and positive take on life.I would have loved to have seen this at the Sundance Film Fest with a Q&A with the filmmaker and participants after the movie. If anyone was there for that, I'd love to hear your comments on the experience.

I was completely caught off guard when I watched this film. I missed the very beginning but was enthralled throughout the film. Anyone who has ever had body issues can relate to this film in one way or another. I related to most of the individuals in the film but especially with the women. Of course, this is because I am a woman that has dealt with body image issues all of my life. Most women do have these issues. I will never forget the one line that was stated about women who continually are frustrated about their bodies have exerted so much unneeded energy in this area that we could truly have changed the world if our energy was put to better use in a more positive way. I thank the people who were courageous enough to do this film and actually pose naked and to allow us into your world. Thanks

This beautiful documentary truly caught me off guard especially since I am a little jaded being a large consumer of films. To hear these personal stories of diverse often painful human experiences punctuated with the truth of the subjects bodies skin was very powerful and thought provoking. I expected it to be similar to a project nu type of thing but it was so much more. The most moving story for me being the one shown about the film maker herself in which she narrated and filmed herself speaking to the camera as though I was there in the room listening to her story first hand. To me this is what independent film and Sun dance is all about.
